Monday,Day One; Arrival: I am in Wardli 2. The people in my Wardli are: Sophie, Catherine Georgia, Julia, Mimi and Zara. I share a room with Sophie and Georgia. We were given a tour of the camp grounds and our wardlis. For dinner Kim, Emily and Julia cooked dinner (BBQ and salad.)

Tuesday,Day Two: We had fitness at 7:15, Sophie and Olivia were the leaders for the day and we played "Rob the Nest" until 8:45. We then went to the teachers' wardli for breakfast. I had a glass of milo. We went shopping at Foodland in Yorketown for all of our meals and snacks until our next shopping trip on the following Saturday. We were $70 under budget.

Wednesday, Day Three: Went for our first run. We went to Moonta and Kadina to learn about the history behind the Yorke Peninsula. We also visited an Op shop to buy a $5 item of 19th century clothing to wear for the entire day.

Thursday/Friday,Day Four and Five: Camped out a Innes National Park. In the morning we help pull weeds and pick up rubbish on the beach.
On Thursday we had pasta for dinner and set up our tents according to our bedroom groups in our wardli. It was really warm during the day but freezing at night. When we returned back at Wambana, we lit the pizza oven and had our "pizza night."

Saturday,Day Six: In the morning we went for a run. So far we have baked brownies, scones and pinwheel cookies. We also went shopping again, this time being $175 under budget.

Sunday,Day Seven: We slept in until 8:15. Went snorkelling and got too cold. Saw and held a pink starfish.

Monday,Day Eight: Meant to be at Hardwick Bay but it was too windy so we stayed at Wambana. We had the bake off and we won!!

Tuesday,Day Nine: Went snorkeling during the storm and watched as my skin turned purple from the cold. A slight mix up with days meant we were supposed to visit Pt. Pearce Aboriginal School today at around 10am. We arrived at 1pm for lunch and to hang out with the children.

Wednesday, Day Ten: Went snorkeling- saw the odd fish but it was extremely cold. I cooked chicken and pumpkin risotto for dinner.

Friday, Day Twelve: Went shopping and because it's the last week, we went all out but still were $200 under. After shopping, we stayed at Wambana, in two groups working on a mosaic or planting trees. I made hedgehog slice for dessert to accompany our pizza night.

Saturday, Day Thirteen: It rained today; the chances of planting trees or working on the mosaic were in doubt. We had the Tournament of Minds presentation. For dinner I cooked chicken, chips and salad. WE WON THE TOURNAMENT OF MINDS PRESENTATION!!!

Day Fourteen: Went on a scavenger hunt.... WE WON! The prize was food of our choice from the bakery. Worked on Mosaics and classwork. Used the ipads to aid us with astronomy.

Day Fifteen: Went for a run today. At 9am we drove to Hardwicke Bay to help the local community with weeding and planting. We were given lunch (beef patties, chips, sausages and bread), followed by dessert (ice cream and fruit). Back at Wambana we either continued with our class work or helped with the mosaic.

Day Sixteen: We had a classroom session from 9am- 11:45 to work on the class tasks. After lunch, at 12:30 we were fitted with a wetsuit and met on the bus ready to go surfing. When we got there, we saw a large group of Dolphins. The water was freezing. we were put into groups with surf instructors who taught us the basics. I managed to sort of stand on the board before I fell off. The board also hit me in the head 3 times. When we returned to Wambana HQ, we had 40 minutes free time, then chillout at 5:20pm. Took a bread and butter toastie with me. For dinner we had Mexican meatballs and rice.

Day Seventeen: We were on the bus at 8am for a full day of surfing. However, the weather wasn't that great so we only stayed until lunch.
I was given a smaller board and had improved heaps- the waves were much better too. A storm came in so we watched BLUE CRUSH- a surfer film. For dinner we had chicken wraps and chocolate pudding for dessert. At 7pm we were on the bus to drive to Hardwicke Bayto play bingo with the locals.

Day Eighteen: Were supposed to go surfing but there weren't any waves so we went back. On the way back Kim bought each wardli a bag of hot chips {kind of for lunch}. We had to clean out the food in our wardlis and hand them into the teachers- they provided a combined dinner for us with all the left over food.

Day Nineteen: Breakfast was provided by the teachers. We spent until 12 cleaning out and packing ready for departure to Adelaide.
